To celebrate our partnership with Rainbow Families designed to encourage more fabulous LGBTIQ+ carers, we share Katelynd and Kate's journey from foster care to adoption. This amazing couple have opened their hearts and homes to two young brothers and reinforce the importance of birth family connection to ensure the boys grow up with a healthy sense of identity and belonging.

It's Workplace Giving month

With EOFY fast approaching we wanted to celebrate all things Workplace Giving with you. Workplace Giving is the opportunity to make a regular, pre-tax donation to Barnardos every pay day.

If you donate $20 per pay, it will only cost you $12.60 but Barnardos will receive the full $20. You can donate as little as $2 a pay! Speak to your HR Manager today or if you’re a company decision maker check out our Employer How to Guide.

Aboriginal Artist Eddie Longford teams up with Barnardos Canberra

The Intensive Intervention Service Team at Barnardos Canberra teamed up with local Aboriginal Artist Eddie Longford. Together they came up with the beautiful idea on how to represent Barnardos Canberra in the local area with Indigenous Art.
